2020 Maine Six Stars Workshop
The Six Stars is a set of Nui Kung from the Tao Ahn Pai system. It consists of six standing exercises, which build up the physical foundation of your body beginning with the bone marrow. These exercises help strengthen from the inside out, by keeping the bone marrow soft and supple. The Stars also help to rejuvenate your body by strengthening the tendons, bones, muscles and connective tissue. Rather than increasing muscle size and bulk the Six Stars focus the “Chi”, giving the sense of solidity, depth and balance to your body. They are beneficial for anyone. Tao Ahn Pai (Taoist Elixir Style), dates back over 1,300 years to Lu Dung Bin, who was born during the Tang Dynasty, and became one of the Eight Immortals of Taoism. Tao Ahn Pai was brought to the United States in 1948 by Master Share K. Lew, a Taoist priest. Part of Master Lew’s education took place at Wong Lung Kwan, a Taoist monastery in the Luo Fo mountains near Canton, China where he studied for 13 years. During that time he trained in the full range of Taoist healing and martial arts. At the core of his training was the secret system of cultivation known as Nui Kung.
Master Share K. Lew’s wife and partner for 34 years, as well as co-teacher for over 30 years and has over 39 years of experience with Meditation and Nui Kung.
Juanita has dedicated herself to follow in Master Lew’s footsteps teaching the TaoAhnPai as Master Lew wanted it taught. Before Master Lew’s passing in July 2012, Juanita was told, “You must be teach!“

Authentic Dit Da Jow Liniment Available at Workshop
This ancient mixture of Chinese herbs was formulated three centuries ago in a Taoist monastery. The monks used the liniment before and after martial arts practice to increase strength and flexibility as well as to heal external injuries quickly and completely.The Dit Da Jow was transmitted to Master Share K. Lew in his monastery. He brought the formula to the the United States. For more then 30 years I have helped prepare the liniment and now I will continue in my husbands foot steps.The liniment should be used externally only. It is effective for bruises, sore muscles, recurring or chronic conditions such as arthritis or rheumatism, sprains, swelling, varicose veins, and sports or traumatic injuries.
